Eyes to Hear

Hey guys!
This post is going to be brief because I'm just going to be talking about this outfit, like I always do :D

Btw, sorry for the LQ pics because I totally didn't plan shooting this post at 9 in the evening with very iffy lighting, so yeah I apologize for that. :)

So, this pullover/sweater thing. I TOTALLY LOVE IT. I love it because it's a big eyecatching statement piece. Which means it can go with absolutely anything and look effortless because you don't have to add much to make it stand out because its already so loud. Its good with shorts, pants, basically everything! Except like a bikini bottom because that would be awk-werd.

As you can see, I can't get enough of this denim skirt. It's really versatile and I just HAD to do at least one more outfit post with it. :) It lightens up the almost almooost monochromatic pattern of the top.

Then I paired it with a beanie to highlight the black in the pullover so that everything is cohesive.
Oh, and of course Lia gots to wear her boots. #typical #whatdoyouexpect

Detaaaaiiilsss.
Don't you just love the pattern of this pullover? *heart heart*
OHHHH bling bling

Tough love

You guys know me. Girly with a little bit of spunk, I'M ALL ABOUT THAT.

Demonstrated a lot in this outfit.

What inspired me to put this look together was the denim skater skirt. So let me tell you the backstory behind getting this skirt.

Basically, I wanted a denim skater skirt. You know, skater skirts come in all different fabrics and they're so pretty and I became obsessed over them. And THEEEEN, I found out that there was a denim one and I. WENT. CRAY. CRAY. I looked everywhere. Online shops, boutiques, like EVERYWHERE. But it would always be sold out and then I wanted to cry (JK :D) But then I found one at the World Trade Center but my mom wouldn't let me get it (booohooo) then last February 6, 2 days after my birthday, I saw one at The Ramp at Glorietta and I was like "Oh nooo, you are NOT getting away from me this time" and.... HERE IT IS. Thank you, Jesus! And mom :)

Back to the outfit :D I thought that this denim skater skirt was really interesting because it would go well with so many things, in particular, a shirt and my Converse :D #mylazyass

This awesome Swerve croptop from Sea Shop is one of my absolute faves because its maroon and it has fangirl linggo on it (ohyeah)

And my white converse. Hahaha, surprise surprise. :D

I thought that the outfit was to basic so I added my adorbs heart tights to give a touch of cuteness to it :D And of course, to give off some post-Valentine's Day vibes going on *wink* Btw, the hearts on my knees are black if that makes all the bitter people feel better :D #thatrhymed

The Other Side

Girly me.
Two words that don't usually go together.

This is post is going to be quite short because it's just full of pictures of me looking out a window in HD :D

These shots were taken by my bestfriend Thea Buenafe :) We, or she rather ('cause I don't know shit about cameras) experimented with exposure and brightness and contrast and stuff like that. And judging by these pics, THEA MAY FUTURE KA :D

The shots turned out to be rather, uhm.... bridal? Haha, that is the only word to describe these :D Maybe you can call this the delicate side of me without all the converse and messy hair, but alas, I was wearing Docs :D #girlygirlnooo Who new I had a mole on my shoulder? :D

SEE?

I swear, even though it's not obvious on my face, I kept laughing throughout this entire shoot and kept blurting out dramatic lines from teleseryes of my own making.

It feels weird seeing myself like this.
I was (am) boyish for the majority of my childhood and I'm the type of girl that always gets told off by her mom to wear more dresses and brush her hair, that sorta stuff.
I'm a toughie.
I was a bully, that fat kid that always bit people and pinched their skin.
I hated dresses and for the most part of my elementary days, I refused to wear them.
My hair has always been an unruly and unkempt mess.
I used to feel awkward when my hair was up so I always had it down and people would tell me to fix it or at least pin it out of my face.
My clothes always had skulls on them.
          I hate sandals.
I'm not afraid of cockroaches and would roll my eyes at people that screamed because of them.
          I'm an infamous slob.
I used to not care about powder, cologne and clean handkerchiefs.
I used to be an only child which resulted in me being really  used to being alone...
and guarded.

The reason I don't like about showing this more feminine side of me is because I think it makes me seem vulnerable and exposed for some reason. I like my sneakers and my boots because they toughen me up and make me feel like a force to be reckoned with. It's my cocoon I guess, my facade.

Shot at Thea's house on the first day of the Foundation Week Celebration of Maryhill College :)

Of course, Lia being Lia, this post wouldn't be complete without an ootd shot :D It was a pretty cool day so I decided to wear this cozy top from @chickpicksph and some jeggings aaand my comfy Docs to upgrade the look :D #yeahofftheshoulder

Detaaaiiilssss

♡ Outfit Description
Knitted top - @chicpicksph
Jeggings - Idk :D
Flower hairtie - Pacific Mall
White watch - Relic
Crown ring - World Trade Center
Patent boots - Doc Martens

And because this post is full of overly serious side-view pics of me, here is a picture of my trying to pull a Bieber pose :D Emphasis on the "trying" :D

A rare peek into the other side.

Haha, thank God for HD pictures :D

Thanks for reading guys!

Seeing bright lights and warm nights

Summmmaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh is officially heeere! I swear my dad said that PAGASA announced it yesterday. Thing is, I HATE SUMMER. The thing about the heat and the SWEAT and the darker skin isn't  really that appealing to me. But the road trips, vacation, and super fun clothes aspect of summer is enough to change my mind. Bye bye, cold days! (I"m gonna miss you, ooh the fluffy sweaters)

Well, I guess it's always summer in the Philippines (tropical country duh) and we live t h i s close to the equator so yeah. But the end of last year came as a surprise because that shiz was cray cold. Pineapples were freezing like people were and it seems that the country has had enough of the cold temp and is currently heating up like an angry microwave.

Good Lord it is hot. Even when it rains it's hot. And don't even try to go out at 11-3 in the afternoon because you will get BAKED. (Nooo, not WEED baked, like uhm... cookies baked). Looking forward to the cold popsicles, AC on for infinity, short shorts, food, swimming and (ugh) darker skin. Well, it isn't summer SUMMER because school hasn't ended yet but jeez it's hot.

Enough of that and onto the outfit for this post :) Because it is super hot, I decided to wear this midriff top. I really like it because it says LAME on it because I'm lame and the midriff and I can be lame together. Plus the colors on it are really bright, perfect for summer. :)

I thought of pairing this top with a denim skater skirt (I'll do some looks wearing that soon), it looked okay but I thought that that was too expected so instead I paired it with this cool ombre crochet skirt. I think that it brings out the green in the top really well and it's just really comfy and light. (And Kendall Jenner has been wearing crochet shorts a lot and I kind of hate her for being with Harry Styles so I'm gonna wear something crochet even though I'm basically an obese unicorn compared to her. #fangirlprobs #Icried)

And finallyyyy for my shoes, I paired my outfit with my trusty white Converse to keep it comfy, casual and fun and well... me. Hahahaha. Converse + Lia = LOVE :D I personally think that this look would look better with hi-top converse but I still have to save up for those :D

And a cool pair of sunnies to give off some summer vibes

♡ Outfit Description
Midriff top - @seashop
Crochet skirt - Herbench
White Chucks - Converse
Pink Sunnies - @chicpickph

Looks like the sun won't be silenced anytime soon and it seems like it's going to burn even brighter as summer dawns on us. :) #bittahsweet #ohhhmycolddays

I KNOW I'M FAT. SO STFU JUDGMENTAL MOFOS.

Keep cool guys! Fizz out :D

Solitude (poem post)

I feel small, a matter of fact
not a matter of weight,
not a matter girth
but rather of worth

Gold by the heap,
tipping the scales
Platinum beyond ponder
rearing the sails

Cluttered,
 mind unlike traffic
dreaming high,
wishing divine

Digging the dirt,
dashing the earth
filthy diamonds,
 decaying first

Quads of crossroads
confuse and surround
calls from darkness
the only sound

Oceans of desperation,
waves of temptation
eyes as wells
chimes and bells

Secure in my mess,
undisturbed,
untouched,
ready to burn

I'll travel to Solitude
a forgotten place
vowed to break
as torn lace

- Solitude, by Lia Pauline Paderon

Why is it that when I write poems, they always turns out to be depressing?
Oh well :D

Rockabilly

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting lately. You see, my iPhone got stolen so I had nothing to take pictures with (except my damn blurry iPod). So long story short, I basically gave up. *tears* However, I have my ways, (and "ways" meaning borrowing other people's phones) And heeere I am. :D

While I was gone (to cry, I hope my iPhone fed starving children and helped save the world) I came up with some outfit ideas. And this isn't my first one, but it was the one I wanted to shoot. And you know me, me and laid back outfits have a thing going on. And this one was the comfiest evahhhhh.
