Fair Lady (poem post)

Hush now, lips together
silent vow, is forever
hand in mine
invisible twine

Head as straight,
as her hair
hands as rough,
as his wear

Glistening crown,
mine to break,
Soldier's soul,
yours to take

Azure sky,
mine to reach
Warmth from life,
yours to leach

Golden joy,
mine to leak
daises dead,
yours to seek

Road of dark,
hour of death,
bear with me
blind to see

She was burnt lace,
broken beauty,
He was blue fire
ignited to me

Withered looks
ignored the race
burned the books,
forgotten face

bed of flowers,
silence after
too late to cry
a torn chapter

Fair lady,
pulled from life
Your desperate cry
won't suffice

Fair Lady, Lia Pauline P Paderon.
